The rooms, kitchen and bathroom were very clean and the location was excellent, only 2 minutes walk to the centre. However, the most impressive aspect of the hostel were the staff. The person looking after the hostel, Luda, was incredibly warm, welcoming and helpful. The staff made the stay unforgettable.

If u get to find the place which i did only after calling and having the owner waiting for me at the entrance, then u get to enjoy a great flat in a great location. There are no signs at the entrance to the hostel or signs leading u to the flat in the building so it was very hard to find even after reaching the address. Other then this i recommend very much to visit Kiev and maybe learn Russian before because no one, except very few, speaks English.

Kristina is there all the time for anything you needed, arranging things for you depending on your needs, really helpful and nice. Place is quiet and as its name says, right next to Teatralna in a very centric location. Its a simple place but very clean. I'd would go there again for sure!

The rooms were very clean and warm. The bathrooms were also very clean and presentable.

I think the hostel staff paid attention to the previous postings here because there were arrows leading to the door -- we had no problems at all finding it. The hostel is a 3-room apartment with 2 loos and a kitchen. There is a small hallway with a couch to hang out on. The staff was very helpful. Free coffee/tea is awesome in this very expensive city.

You have to carefully read the instructions on the hostel's own site to know how to get in the door to the building once You find it. Seriously. Otherwise You'll be calling them and who wants to slammed with roaming charges just to get in a building. Also, the room was quite stuffy at night.

People in the reception can speak english very well and they are nice

If you do some friends during your stay, they may not wellcome you to bring them to the hostel, not even for an hour (just for you to know)

This is not really classic hostel, but just a big flat with a lot of rooms inside. One day I waited 10 min to enter the toilet.

Absolutely fantastic staff. Every thing I could ever need was there. Excellent location close to subway. Extreme value for your $$$

The staff were wonderfull, very helpfull and knowledgable about the city.Very welcoming. The hostel is small and friendly,very central and convenient, 2 minutes to the metro, 5 minutes to main shopping street,supermarket,market,cheap restaurants.I would definately stay here again if in Kiev.

Hostel Really Central lives up to it's name it's situated right in the centre of Kiev only a few steps from Teatralna metro station & one of the main streets-Khreshchatyk Street. I,d like to say a big "thank you" to Anastasia who gave me a warm welcome & made my stay enjoyable.

I visited during Euro 2012 & unfortunately it was a lot more expensive than it would normally be to stay @ Hostel Really Central.Nevertheless it is worth paying a little extra for the central location although the facilities are somewhat basic.

Hostel Really Central was excellently located as the name would suggest located just around the corner from Khreschatyk the main street in Kiev. The rooms are clean and spacious with wifi available if required, the staff are very friendly and speak very good English - no language barrier problems here. If your looking for cheap and cheerful I would recommend this place.

This is a hostel (although well maintained) so those expecting luxury should look elsewhere.

I like it`s location and staff

Location is excellent, it is very well placed for all the main sites in Kiev. As will many hostels in Kiev it is in an apartment block so woul;d be difficult to find except for the signs the staff have put up to aid finding the place - we had no problems here. We had a private room which had 2 single beds - clean and freshly decorated. most of the staff (the female staff) were friendly and helpful, and spoke good English. Many reviews talk about how sociable the hostel was and we were concerned it may be a bit of a party place, but as late thirties/early forties trvellers it was a peaceful place to stay.

Bed mattresses were on their way out with loud bangs as the springs gave out on a regular basis. The general standard of the hostel was good, but the kitchen lacked facilities (i.e. it would be nigh on impossible to cook effectively with what was there, and virtually no crockery). The male member of staff was totally ignorant and never acknowledged our existence, instead he sat and played online poker 24/7 and completed ignored everyone. The outer door needs a code to get in, without it you cannot contact the hostel without a phone, so you can get locked out until you find the code.
